I found that recently I have renewed my obsession for shoes and bags. I attribute it to the fact that bags and shoes NEVER make me feel fat!
So while designer bags have replaced watches (only to some extent and depending on who you're asking) in terms of investment pieces. We ladies cannot deny the power of shoe retail therapy.
I may have crossed out high heels as my daily footwear since I am now a mother of two handsome little chikitings and I don't want to risk a fall with them around, but there will always be days [or nights] when I'd want to feel like a *ehem, woman.
In my previous post, I mentioned that I don't like regrets, and I don't want my readers to think I contradict myself, so I'd like to share a quote:
"Regret for things we did can be tempered with time; It is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable." -Sidney Smith
Okay, okay. That was NOT a shopping quote. Hahahah! But I do have a few regrets in terms of what I did not buy, one is not getting these Balmain inspired sandals from Zara. :(
I passed on buying because I didn't really think I'd wear them. What was I thinking? Of course I'll wear 'em! Tsk! :(
Now this quote is shopping related and I'd like to share it. This is the quote that I (used to) live, I mean, shop by. Me thinks I should adapt it once again into my shopping habits.
"It is important to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it." -Mariben :)
