Kaden Turns 4 and Chace Is Now A Christian! :)

Last Sept 5, my boys had a red, black, & white themed party to celebrate Kaden's 4th birthday and Chace's dedication. :)

My sweet little boys. And yes, they're always sweet like that. My heart melts each time. :)
I'm glad we had a lot of kids at this kiddie party and I'm happy that the kids had so much fun.
The other kids were scared to have their photos taken with the mascots though.

GIVEAWAYS

Baby bottle candles for Carlos Chace's dedication which we ordered from FavorFavor and had mailed through Johnny Air in Megamall.

Kaden wanted a Spiderman themed party for him and I tried to find as much Spidey giveaways as I could but there wasn't enough for everyone. So I decided to mix them other characters. I figured Barney was unisex and the little girls had their choice of Strawberry Shortcake, Dora, or Barbie giveaways.

NAMETAGS/LABELS

As I previously posted, the invitations were made by Print & Paper Specialists. Ciara also helped me with the name tags for the children as well as the giveaway labels. :)

CENTERPIECESBALLOONSGAMESMASCOTSINFLATABLE PLAYTHING HOTDOG & ICE CREAM CARTSThe centerpieces, balloons, clown/emcee, mascots, inflatable plaything, and food carts were provided by Alice Lim (09209052250). She was a big help in organizing the party, and I think she did a great job with the balloons. I especially liked her pacifier balloons.

I was happy that by the end of the night Chace was dedicated to the Lord by Pastor Jorge, who also officiated our wedding last year.

When Kaden was dedicated some 4 years ago, he had A LOT of ninongs and ninangs. Most my barkadas (hs, college, roommates) wanted to be godparents, and who was I to say no. Plus I also added those who were there for me and Kaden during that trying moment of my life.

This time around for Chace we wanted to keep the number at a minimum. For his dedication, his ninangs were Janice, Jennifer & Gianelli; while the ninongs were Alfonso & Nikki. Out of the five, only three were in Zamboanga for that day.

Chace had a catholic baptism too (as requested by my in-laws). I will post pictures of that later.

LANTAKA ROOFDECK

It was our first time to hold a party at Lantaka, it's a nice change from Regency and Palmeras. But we were quite disappointed that the staff did not bother returning Kaden's coral bracelet that fell from his wrist during the party.

FOOD

Thanks to friends & family who came.

To our parents for their help. Yes, the party was fun and my boys enjoyed the night. But the organizing part left me drained of all energy by the time the party was over. I especially liked how we stuck to a budget for this party and still it came out nice. :)My uber tired feet by the time the party ended.

Kaden was super excited to go home and open his presents.

NOTE: This post has been on drafts for a while because the pictures are still incomplete. I decided to post it now because it's already late and then just update the pictures later.

One Afternoon...

Last Sunday, my three boys and I checked in at Lantaka Hotel so the boys can go swimming.
Kaden had fun.
It was a first time for little Carlos Chace.
Who seemed to enjoy his time in the water.
Very much.
He even made a new friend. :)
Baby pa mahilig na sa chicks. :) He really is Eustaquio. Tsk.
Bonding time for the boys.
My dad (their papa) joined them too.
Kaden made new friends.
Art was a 9 year old for about 10 minutes.
Kaden decided he wanted a grand exit so he ran around the pool naked when it was time to leave.

He didn't mind the kids laughing at his naked butt.
*Sigh. I love my family.
