During my first pregnancy, I gained 45lbs during my first seven months of pregnancy. Good thing, on my seventh month I started going on hourly (minimum) brisk walking around the marina. So my total weight gain for my entire nine months was capped at 50lbs.
I was huge, my nose was swollen like a tomato, and strangers would come up to me in the mall and ask if I'm having twins. Some people actually swore that I would never go back to my pre-pregnancy body.
I think it had to do with the exercise I had during the pregnancy, but I was down to 122lbs (losing almost 30lbs) in two weeks without doing anything but nurse the baby. In about six months, I was in Boracay sporting a bikini.
Now, onto my second pregnancy, I have to admit that I'm not feeling too optimistic. First, I already gained 40lbs (give or take) in just a six month period. Second, is my total absence of exercise until I'm 36 weeks pregnant [obviously not by choice]. Third, is because a lot of people keep saying it's not as easy to shed weight after your second baby.
I need inspiration!!! Even thoughts of Amanpulo upon bikini-bod achievement is just not good enough!
But if they can do it, why can't I?
I guess owning a treadmill by the time I give birth in April would be very helpful too, since I'm not much of a gym person.
