Robert Buckley is SO hot.

September has been a long month for me, and I'm glad it's almost over. Between stressful duty, headaches, wanting to throw up, the metallic taste in my mouth, waking up every so often [too often] to pee, breaking out, getting fat, and becoming lazier than I already am -I'm just not in good shape. I'm just glad that all my favorite shows have started their new seasons and I've been busy downloading. Although, I worry about the very limited space I have in my macbook and I have to delete movies every now and then.

What am I downloading now? Let's see, there's Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Prison Break, Heroes, Californication, Lipstick Jungle, Chuck and I'm trying to find Grey's Anatomy. After watching the first few episodes of these shows, I was still able to hold back blogging because laziness still got the best of me. But after watching Lipstick Jungle in particular, I knew I just had to blog.

Robert Buckley playing Kirby Atwood is uber hotttttt. It doesn't help that his first scene on the show was of him topless and showing off his sexiness. Critics of the show say that it's his steamy love affair with Nico Reilley that keeps that show going. I think... it's possible since it's definitely NOT Brooke Shields or her character that I'm following. But who cares, really??? Aside from his mega HOTness, I also like the character he portrays in the show. Lets just say I have a huge teenager crush. :)

If this isn't hot, I don't know what is.

*Sighs.

Back to blogging

Almost a month of being missing in action (MIA) made me forget my blogspot password. Imagine that? I'm becoming too lazy nowadays that I don't like to face my laptop for more than an hour because it gives me a bad throbbing headache which doesn't stop. I'm almost getting used to that headache since it's constantly there, but it's such a pain and it's very uncomfortable.

Although, another reason I also stopped blogging is because I got depressed when my iphoto crashed and I lost all my photos circa 2005 to onwards, and I have no backup.  :( Anyone can tell me how to restore those photos? It looks like I just have to bring my macbook to applecare so they can try to save my photos, even if I'm too lazy to travel these days.

Thank you, to everyone who's been voting for our baby's gender. I've always wanted a baby girl, and Kaden wants a baby sister, but my husband wants a baby boy so he and Kaden can have a new playmate and they can share their "games" among the three of them. After I underwent the operation, I realized that the gender doesn't matter anymore, as long as Art and I have a healthy bouncing baby, I'm happy. Please help us pray for our healthy bouncing baby. Almost 3 months down, 6 months to go. We're all excited, especially little Kaden.

Thank you, too to everyone who's been reading the blog. :) I didn't realize I had loyal readers, and my biggest fan? my husband! Thanks baby, and since you're such an avid reader and it looks like you check my blog daily, I think I can make my confession here. I can't bear to hear the hurt in your voice when I tell you. I'm sorry baby, I've already watched the first two episodes of Heroes season 3, I just couldn't help it! I promise Kaden and I will watch them with you again when you arrive. Hehehe.

Had a visit to the Ob-Gyne this afternoon to check on our walnut. Glad to know that we are blessed with a healthy one, so far. We pray it will stay this way until 9 months from now. :)

To those curious, here is our walnut's heartbeat at 7 weeks and 2 days. Amazing, isn't it?

Yey! I Have The Twilight Saga!!! :)

This afternoon, it felt to me like Christmas came early when I received the amazon package containing THE books I've been wanting to read for quite sometime now. I've heard about these Stephenie Meyer books late last year from various peoples' blogs and their varying great reviews made me interested to read even just the first book. But I wasn't sure if I was willing to spend on the book because I'm not big with vampire stories. [I did read Interview with a Vampire in high school though]. I was waiting for someone I know to get a book and lend it to me, and I was starting to get overcome by curiosity because until recently no one really had a copy for me to read.

Lately, the Twilight has garnered more attention than ever because of the upcoming movie to be released this November. Although I'm thinking the movie can never be as good as the book [because I'm always biased on books turned into movies], I'm still very excited nonetheless. It's not difficult to get fascinated with the characters of Bella Swan & Edward Cullen, and get caught up in their Romeo & Juliet-meets-The Vampire Chronicles love story.

Now, I want to thank my great friend Marco for buying me these books and totally making my "bed rest" livable, at least for a few days. ;) I was so touched when I opened the package and saw all FOUR books inside the box. How sweet! Talk about good friend!! I love you, Marco!!! :)

I love the fresh, crisp smell of new books. The Twilight Saga just looked so inviting that I couldn't wait to devour them. Actually, I already read the first book and I was immediately attached to Bella & Edward's characters and to their impossible yet touching romance. The book is unlike any vampire book I've ever read before, I don't remember being this captivated by any other vampire book. I read in a review before that Twilight "is a vampire story for people who don't like vampire stories", and it looks to me now that there's a lot of truth in that. The book is beautifully written, and the story is both compelling and intense. I love the melancholic feel I get with as the story unfolds and I look forward to getting to know more of the Cullens in the later books. that I can't wait to curl up in bed and read the next book. And the next...

Here's a preview of the movie. November seems a decade away.

"ABOUT THREE THINGS I was absolutely positive.
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him – and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be – that thirsted for my blood.
And third, I was unconditionally, and irrevocably in love with him."

[Yahoo! News] Bangladeshi Boy with two heads dies

On August 26th, a Bangladeshi baby boy named Kiron, weighing 5.5 kg (12.1 lbs) was born. He died after his parents decided to take him home against doctor's advice because they could not afford to take him to a hospital in the city for proper medical attention.

According to the doctor, "It was a very unusual case. The boy had one body but two complete heads." [Yahoo! News]

Too bad they weren't able to keep the baby alive for a longer time. It would have been a great case study. If the parents could not afford the medical attention, why couldn't their government help out even just a little bit? Surely, the news reached them because the local police was called in to control the crowd of 150,000 which gathered in the clinic to look at the baby [Yahoo! News]. I am seriously wondering if both heads were responsive, like did both heads cry upon delivery, do both heads have reactions like smiling or yawning and did both heads need feeding? Poor babies. :(
